Week in Review

So last week I had the pleasure of spending an entire week with my husband - OMG It was the best week by far that we have had. It was so great to wake up with him and spend time with him. I know I see him everyday - but it just felt different - like I was truly with my best friend and partner in the entire world. I thank God for allowing us to spend this time together and to be able to enjoy each others company.
We went to the Tide Pools at the Point Loma Light house, we had a pool party, and we went to my nieces wedding in LA where we had so much fun spending time with family - But most of all it was fun to just be with my husband and not have to worry about getting up early for him to go to work or going to bed early because he needed to sleep.
But most of all I think it was important for our relationship to have been able to spend time together. I am glad that God has blessed me with such an amazing friend, partner and husband!

Being Me

So this year has been one that I never really thought would turn out the way it has. I married my best friend this past October 11, 2008 and it was the best moment of my life. I don't think I could have asked for anything better.
But then in February I lost my job and since then I have not been able to find anything. But I have faith that God will take care of me and that I will be able to do anything so long as I keep my eyes on him and his kingdom.
But I have tried to take advantage of this time and just focus on my husband and building a stronger relationship with the Lord. I feel that things will take a turn for the best and that with my eyes focused on Him I can achieve anything.
So I am ready for anything and I am looking forward to the rest of the year!
